LUGB wafer vortex flow meter clamped between pipeline flanges with remote display head
LUGB Vortex Flow Meter

LUGB Wafer Vortex Flow Meter

LUGB wafer (flange-clamp) vortex flow meter for gas, liquid and steam, DN15 to DN200, clamped compactly between pipeline flanges with a face-to-face length of only 65 to 135 mm — an ideal space-saving and retrofit alternative to the flanged type.

Where the LUGB Wafer Fits

The wafer (flange-clamp) LUGB is the compact member of the LUGB vortex family: instead of carrying its own flanges, it clamps between the pipeline flanges with a face-to-face length of only 65 to 135 mm. That makes it the space-saving choice for retrofit installations, skids and congested plant rooms where a flanged meter would not fit.
It measures the same media as the rest of the LUGB family — gas, liquid and steam including saturated and superheated steam — with the same accuracy class 1 for liquids and class 1.5 for gases.

Construction and Specifications

Wafer sizes run from DN15 up to DN200 (DN20 optional). The pressure rating follows the size: 4.0 MPa on DN15-50, 2.5 MPa on DN65-80 and 1.6 MPa on DN100-200. Liquid ranges start at 0.3-3 m³/h on DN15 and reach 65-650 m³/h on DN200; gas ranges run from 5-30 m³/h up to 550-5500 m³/h.
Medium temperature covers -25 to +80 °C in the standard type and -25 to +250 °C or +300 °C in the high-temperature types. Output is pulse plus 4-20 mA with RS485 available, powered from DC 12 V, DC 24 V or a 3.6 V lithium battery. The body is 304 stainless steel with an aluminium converter housing, protection IP65.

Ordering Guidance

Confirm the pipe DN, the medium (liquid, gas, saturated or superheated steam), the flow range and the operating pressure and temperature against the wafer size table, then select the compensation option (none, temperature, pressure, or combined), the display and output, the body material (304 or 316) and any explosion-proof requirement. The wafer connection requires the pipeline flanges and gaskets at the appropriate rating.
